Hi and welcome to my final post for the Undersized Urbanite dollhouse contest, hosted by the wonderful Little Victorian blog!
I built a quarter scale house from a kit made by ANI (bought on eBay). Here is how the house started;
And here is how it turned out after many hours of blood, sweat and tears, literally, especially the last one. 🙂
Here is the exterior;
I originally took pictures in the sun, but felt as though they were too leached out to use for all the pictures, however, some were nice;
I still have my front yellow door that I wanted! and the little grass doormat which greets you with “hello” is one of my favourites. 🙂
Please do come in and take a look around! 🙂
The front entry is very welcoming,
You might remember the living room, which has been finished for a while, you will notice that I added a T.V.
To the left of the living room is the bedroom, right through this door….
Cozy blue floral bedroom. Ready for whatever a pretty lady might have in mind…sewing…pinning sewing projects on pinterest….(Not that I’m like that or anything…;));
We go back through the living room and front entry way to the kitchen, someone is ready to bake some cookies!
And last, but not least, the dining room, which is to the right of the kitchen, through this little archway;
The evening sun does more justice for the detail;
View of all the rooms from the back;
This a quarter scale house, meaning 1/4 Inch is equal to 12 real life inches! Just as a reminder of how tiny this is, here are pictures with a dime throughout the house;
Now go vote!! A linky list of all participants is available on The Little Victorian blog (Where voting happens, at thr above link!:)). Take a look and choose your favourite three! Good luck to everyone! !
P.s. I have updated more on my contest submission
