Merry Christmas everyone! I hope you had a warm and fuzzy day full of family and fun! I know ours was, although at times it was hard to tell over the screaming children (which is expected to happen on such a busy and over stimulating day!!!). I had a lot of fun this year since I was in a bigger space, I was able to my first big tree! Big deal! The previous years trees were small and never decorated with any particular “theme”, was just a tree. This year…sparkles, pearls, gold, glitter..every. where.
Our tree had a modest amount of gifts. We tend to focus on quality rather than quantity when it comes to gifts.
Nia was lucky to receive the Fisher Price Loving Family dollhouse,
She has received some furniture sets from my grandparents at an early Christmas dinner, but were sad to find that they didn’t fit in her older house. So we had to go and get the newer one to “fit” it in. That’s how they make you spend the money! Lol. Looking back at pictures though, she seemed most excited about this bottle of glue;
Makaio didn’t have much to say as it was his first Christmas;
Still exciting none the less. As for myself…..I am currently blogging from my new iPad, my most unexpected and appreciated gift of the year (or maybe my whole life..?).
So far it has been fun to play around with and I really think its going to be a wonderful addition to
my electronic toys the family electronic collection 😉
I was also gifted a Calico Critter town home gift set. Also right up there with my favourite gifts. 🙂
I haven’t had a chance to explain my critter obsession, but I am sure I will soon!! 🙂 The gift set included a cute mommy and sister Bunny as well as a bunch of cute mini things;
Again I hope everyone enjoyed their day with family and are enjoying some (possible) relaxing days before the new year arrives!!
Undersized Urbanite update to come!
